A few years ago I saw this movie called ‘Mysterious Skin’ & was completely struck by how raw it was as a film. A couple of weeks back I was googling director Gregg Akari & I came across this film, The Doom Generation.
The styling & costume design (by Catherine Cooper-Thoman) is absolutely breathtaking, it pretty much sums up underground scene ninetees. But at the same time it has such an edge that it makes it is still very relevant today, fifteen years later.
